Coaching Through Life's Transitions
Support for newcomers, mothers-to-be, and new mothers — through reflection, practical preparation, and meaningful connection.
Coaching Sessions (individual and group)
Whether you are preparing for life in a new country or adjusting to motherhood, a major transition can bring questions about your identity, relationships, priorities, and sense of belonging. Through individual or group coaching, we explore what matters to you, recognize your strengths, understand your concerns, and identify realistic next steps. You do not need to have everything figured out before we begin.
Information Sessions and Workshops (group sessions)
These sessions focus on the practical side of a big transition. Based on each group's needs, they may include, but are not limited to:
For newcomers
- Culture, values, and daily life in a new community
- Community resources and settlement information
- Pre-employment orientation
- Cultural orientation and language training
For new and expectant mothers
- Adjusting to life with a new baby: routines and expectations
- Identity, relationships, and changing roles
- Building support networks
- Self-care and realistic goal-setting
Other topics will be arranged based on the needs of clients.
Preparing for Your Next Chapter (individual or group)
Preparing for change can begin before the transition itself. Together, we explore your expectations, support needs, priorities, and practical next steps — whether you are preparing to move to a new life abroad or to welcome a baby.
For newcomers, this may include pre-departure orientation and information about adjusting to a new community: critical information about the destination country, the skills needed to succeed, and methods and approaches for successful integration. These sessions are often delivered online as close as possible to the departure and/or arrival date, and in-person meetings may be arranged if possible.
For mothers-to-be, coaching can focus on changing roles, communicating needs, and identifying sources of support.
Motherhood Community Circles (group)
Gentle, supportive gatherings for new mothers and mothers-to-be — space to breathe, reflect, and connect with other women who understand. Offered online, with in-person gatherings held as often as possible. Dates, locations, and details will be shared as each event is confirmed.
In-person meetings may be arranged when possible.
Arabic is available for some sessions; please ask when booking.
