Safe Arms Motherhood & Transition Coaching

Safe Arms Motherhood — A gentle space to reconnect with yourself

Becoming a mother is a beautiful transition — and it can also feel overwhelming, isolating, and unlike anything you expected. Between sleep, identity changes, relationships, work, family expectations, and the daily needs of a new baby, it is easy to lose sight of yourself.

You do not have to navigate this chapter alone.

At CanadaLink, Shahira offers gentle coaching and community-based support for new mothers and mothers-to-be in Egypt and Canada. Together, you will create space to breathe, share honestly, explore what you need, and take small, realistic steps toward feeling more grounded and empowered.

Whether you are adjusting to life with a newborn, preparing for motherhood, or seeking a deeper transformation, this is a place to be heard without judgment and to reconnect with the “new you” that is emerging.

Coaching sessions are offered online. We will also hold in-person gatherings and community events as often as possible — dates, locations, and details will be shared as each event is confirmed.

Together, you can explore how to:

  1. Reconnect with your identity, values, and strengths
  2. Recognize your needs and communicate them with greater clarity
  3. Set realistic goals and create routines that fit your current circumstances
  4. Navigate changing relationships, expectations, and boundaries
  5. Make space for personal or professional aspirations alongside motherhood

Motherhood can be the beginning of lifelong personal growth. With compassionate guidance and a supportive community, you can build resilience that stays with you — through motherhood and beyond.

Safe Arms Motherhood FAQ

Is motherhood coaching the same as therapy or counselling?

No. Safe Arms Motherhood coaching supports reflection, goal-setting, identity, and practical next steps. It does not provide medical care, psychotherapy, or treatment for postpartum mental health conditions. If you are struggling with your mental health, please reach out to a qualified health professional.

Do I need to have my baby already, or can I start while pregnant?

Both. Mothers-to-be are welcome, as are women adjusting to life after their baby's arrival. Coaching offers space to explore your priorities, support needs, and next steps.

How long does motherhood coaching last?

We can discuss the number and timing of sessions during your introductory conversation.

Will sessions be in person or online?

Both. Coaching sessions are offered online so you can join from wherever you are. We will also hold in-person gatherings and community events as often as possible, and dates, locations, and details will be shared as each event is confirmed.

Do you offer sessions in Arabic?

Arabic is available for some sessions; please ask when booking.

Is this only for first-time moms?

No. This support welcomes mothers-to-be and new mothers, whether you are preparing for your first baby or welcoming another child.

What happens in a community circle?

Community circles are supportive gatherings where mothers can share as much or as little as they wish. Each circle offers space to breathe, reflect, and connect with other women who understand, with gentle guidance and no pressure to have anything figured out.

What if I don't feel ready to share yet?

You do not have to share before you feel ready. You are welcome to listen and choose how much you would like to contribute.

Safe Arms Motherhood offers coaching and community connection focused on personal growth, reflection, and practical goals. It does not provide medical care, psychotherapy, or treatment for postpartum mental health conditions.
